Most actives never reach the cell intact. HNOVA™ wraps them in a plant-based phospholipid vesicle so they arrive protected, soluble and ready to work — one platform, engineered once and carried by six product brands.

Plant-based phosphatidylcholine, precision nano-encapsulation and uniform 50–200 nm particle sizing — the same five-step process behind every ingredient, developed and characterised on Hoynoza's Bengaluru campus.

Platform Advantages

Why HNOVA™

Five advantages, engineered into every formulation.

Enhanced Bioavailability

Improves absorption, increases cellular uptake and maximises systemic availability.

Superior Stability

Protects sensitive actives from oxidation, degradation, gastric enzymes and environmental stress.

Targeted Delivery

Nano-sized liposomes (50 to <200 nm) ensure precise delivery to target tissues and cells.

Improved Solubility

Enhances solubility of poorly water-soluble actives for better formulation flexibility.

Plant-Based & Clean Label

Developed using plant-based phosphatidylcholine (PC) for a premium, sustainable, clean-label delivery.

Anatomy of a liposome

How a liposome carries an active

A liposome is a microscopic vesicle. Its structure lets one carrier hold both water-soluble and fat-soluble actives.

12345
  1. 1
    Phospholipid bilayer

Two layers of plant-based phosphatidylcholine form the vesicle wall.

  2. 2
    Hydrophilic heads

Water-loving heads face the outside and the inside of the vesicle.

  3. 3
    Lipophilic tails

Fat-loving tails tuck together in the middle of the bilayer.

  4. 4
    Aqueous core

Hydrophilic actives are carried in the water-filled centre.

  5. 5
    Embedded cargo

Lipophilic actives sit within the bilayer itself.

Scale

How small is a nano-liposome?

HNOVA™ liposomes are 50 to under 200 nm — about the size of a virus and many times smaller than a bacterium, small enough to stay dispersed in liquids.

HNOVA™ Process

One platform, five steps

Step 01

Plant-Based PC Selection

High-quality plant-derived phosphatidylcholine (PC) is selected as the encapsulating lipid.

Step 02

Precision Encapsulation

Advanced nano-liposomal technology for optimal entrapment of the active ingredient.

Step 03

Nano-Sized Liposomes

Uniform liposomes formed in the 50 nm to <200 nm size range.

Step 04

Enhanced Delivery & Absorption

Liposomes enhance absorption, cellular uptake and targeted delivery to tissues.

Step 05

Maximum Results

Superior bioavailability leads to better efficacy and enhanced outcomes.

Where the active sits

One carrier, two compartments

A liposome has a water-filled core and a fatty bilayer wall, so the same HNOVA™ platform can carry very different actives.

Water-soluble actives

Carried in the aqueous core, shielded from the surrounding environment.

Vitamin C · Glutathione · Minerals

Fat-soluble actives

Held within the phospholipid bilayer, so they disperse in water-based products.

CoQ10 · Carotenoids · Curcumin · Quercetin

Combination systems

Water- and fat-soluble partners in one carrier.

Vitamin C + K2 · Alpha-lipoic acid
Delivery pathway

Why the carrier changes the journey

A free active meets acid, enzymes and poor solubility on the way in. A liposomal active travels inside a lipid shell designed to keep more of the dose intact.

Questions

Common questions

What is HNOVA™?

HNOVA™ is Hoynoza's proprietary nano-liposomal platform. It encapsulates actives in plant-based phosphatidylcholine vesicles of 50 to under 200 nm, and is applied consistently across all 39+ ingredients in the Lipologics portfolio.

Which kinds of active can be encapsulated?

Both hydrophilic and lipophilic actives. Water-soluble actives are carried in the aqueous core; fat-soluble actives sit within the bilayer.

How are the products organised?

Into six product brands — Cellorae, Nourevi, Carovyx, Equivyn, Epivyra and Elemyra — each grouping a family of HNOVA™ actives by purpose, with its own sub-brand family name.

Are these finished consumer products?

No. Lipologics provides technology and ingredients for formulators, manufacturers and developers — not finished consumer products.

How do I get technical documentation?

Specification sheets, Certificates of Analysis and technical dossiers are available on request through the Contact page.
